5/5 Great fit.
Barbell took the standard polo and tweaked it into a fun, flattering, comfortable, and sexy shirt! Traditional enough to wear to the yacht club but the cut and fit really show off all my hard work at the gym. Make heads turn with this shirt!
I bought this shirt for my husband and he loves it!
I like this polo shirt. Definitely better fit for me than a lot of polo shirt out there. No wide bell-shape at the bottom and nice fit on the shoulders/chest. The neck opening is a bit too wide for me and the collar a bit too soft and not staying in position but other than that is great material. I ordered both L and M to see best fit and I kept L. M was ok but was starting to get real tight on shoulders and arms for my taste. I’m 6’2”, 194 lbs and 42” chest.
I initially ordered three larges while they were on sale, but exchanged them for mediums which now fit much better. For reference, I'm about 5'11", 190 lbs, moderately athletic build, big chest, big arms. I got the crimson, the navy blue, and the lagoon green. They each look fantastic - true to the way the colors are shown in the photos. I work in a professional administrative role and dress in a business casual way most of the time. These shirts can absolutely be worn at work, but are still perfectly suitable for the gym or just for everyday stuff. I'll be using them for all three. The material is comfortable and breathes nicely. The fit is definitely athletic and flattering - hugs the chest and upper arms nicely, tapers down toward the waist to avoid the "tent effect" that comes with most polos, and has some stretch and mobility so it doesn't cling to the mid-section too much. I know it must sound tedious to be looking at so many little things, but those have always been what separate great polos from pretty much all the rest. The one small change I'd love to see in the future is with the collar size. The collar is quite wide and not as congruent with the rest of the fit. You can kind of see that in the website's photos, but it's a little more evident when you're wearing it. It's not a deal-breaker (I bought three and love them), but if the collar was just a little more tight this would be a flawless polo (which is hard to find).
